It totally depends upon the company policies. some of the companies can directly hire you for the post of Aircraft Maintenance Technician(AMT),but some companies will give extra training of 6 months-1 year, after that they will give you the post of AMT.

Yes, the any field of the engineering diploma holders are eligible for the AME course, but the condition is that diploma is approved by the AICTE, Government of India. then you are to get admission in the AME course through the AME CET 2020 is the best way to get admission in top AME Institutes in Pan India. If you want to build your career as AME so it is the best career option for you. you can also fill the AME CET 2020 on their official website www.amecet.in.

Yes, you are eligible for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course the qualification for admission in the AME course is a candidate must have 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board or university or 3 years diploma of engineering is also acceptable. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is a four years license based program approved by The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.
candidate can apply for the national level entrance exam of AME CET to get admission and scholarship so good for your career in AME.

HAE Pune gives only Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license approved by DGCA, Govt. of India to Carryout and certifies the maintenance of Aircraft, Aircraft Engine, and Its Component. The license is issued in accordance with the Rule 61 of Aircraft Rule 1937 under Aircraft Act, 1934 (XXII of 1934) passed by Indian Parliament to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft before its flying in accordance with the national & international aviation standards.

This course is pertaining to Aircraft maintenance engineering, and is not a mandatory to enable the entry to pilot course. You still need to pass through the CPL training. However, knowledge of AME course fetches you lot of advantage in pilot training course.

There is no entrance examination for getting admission to AME course at Thakur Institute of Aviation Technology - TIAT, Mumbai. Admissions are given on first come, first take basis. Only passing marks in 10+2 level examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects from a recognized board or its equivalent for getting admission to this course

If you have passed your 10+2 level examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects from a recognized board or its equivalent then you are eligible for DGCA approved AME course.
If you have not passed your 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects then you are eligible for EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) approved AME course
