What's the point of conducting these qualifying tests as they call, Isn't B.Ed or MEd a qualification for the teacher to teach children? It's just an eyewash by the government to make mint money .That too it's for teachers appointed after 2013, might be they would have joined their profession in1997, but may be they joined the current school late. please govt.should specify the age limit and mention the year correctly. The poor teachers who had been serving for more than 25 years are affected and they are paid less than the juniors. please rectify this.

The age limit criteria for appearing in the PU CET (UG) exam depends on whether you belong to the general category or a reserved category. For instance,  Candidates from the General and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st of the exam year. There's no upper age limit.Candidates belonging to reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Other Backward Classes have the same minimum age requirement of 17 years old as of December 31st of the exam year. However, they are eligible for an upper age relaxation of 5 years.
