Yes, the University of Aberdeen requires IELTS. Below are the requirements for Aberdeen University for Ug and PG courses: Applicants applying for Arts-related Subjects: Students must score at least 75% overall. Additionally, a minimum percentage of 80% in English at their XII or our normal English Langauge requirements. Applicants applying for Science related subjects: Students must score at least 75% in their XII overall, including a 75% or more in two subjects, Science or Mathematics and a Science subject. A minimum percentage of 80% in english at XII is required.Applicants applying for Biomedical Sciences: Applicants applying for Biomedical Sciences must have a minimum percentage of 80% overall, including  80% or more in two Science subjects—additionally, a minimum percentage of 80% in English at standard English requirements.Engineering: At standard XII a minimum percentage of 80% overall, including 75% or more in two Science subjects, or mathematics. Additional 80% in English language requirements.Law:  Applicants applying for Law must have a minimum percentage of 80% overall, including  80% or more in two Science subjects—additionally, a minimum percentage of 80% in English at standard English requirements.Postgraduate Courses:   Applicants would look for a minimum of 60% for state and central universities for programmes requiring a 2.2 degree, whereas programmes requiring a 2.1 would need a minimum of 65% overall.For Private and deemed universities, the University looks for a minimum of 60% for programs requiring a 2:2 degree, Whereas programs requiring a 2:1 ratio would need 65%.While the above is a general guide, we understand the marking system in some states and national universities. To make it a little harder to achieve 60%, therefore we will accept 555 from the University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi etc.
