It holds recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Also, the university is approved by the AICTE and CCIM. Further, the university, ranked 850th in India in 2023. Raiganj University offers the BSc programme at low cost compared to other private universities located at Mandi.
