In my opinion, you must go for study abroad. The US has always been a top study destination for Lacs of students around the world. But Unless you opt for the scholarships of tuition-free universities like Germany, us, the cost of studying Engineering abroad is significantly higher compared to India. The Universities in India are always affordable, however, with other countries, the living costs get added, too.

GRE and IELTS are both requirements for any form of study you wish to pursue. As far as an undergrad is considered, you may find certain colleges in Australia which only require an English proficiency test and not GRE. IT is important to scout such colleges and build a proper profile so as to allow a better view of things. With the recent changes, the score barrier for English proficiency tests has gone up and certain people find it difficult to achieve the same.
