The Northern Lights College offers various scholarships, awards, and bursaries to international students. Most scholarships are based on merit, academic excellence, and the financial needs of the students. Students are required to submit their scholarship applications before the end of January. SUTD offers a limited number of scholarships to international students based on merit or research work. Apart from this, international students can also take the help of external scholarships and aids from private institutions or their country’s government to study at SUTD.For undergraduate students, the university offers the following scholarships:SUTD Global Excellence Scholarships: It is offered to international students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements. The beneficiary student’s tuition fee is subsidised, and an allowance of SGD 5,000 is provided once in every two terms. This scholarship also provides an optional grant of up to SGD 15,000 for students who graduate from SUTD and opt for postgraduate degrees at SMU or SUTD within three years.ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarships: Offered to UG aspirants of ASEAN countries, excluding Singapore, this scholarship recognizes students who have outstanding co-curricular records, showcase leadership skills, and required academic grades.SUTD offers the following scholarships to graduate students:SUTD President’s Graduate Fellowships: This fellowship offers complete tuition fee support along with a monthly stipend of SGD 3,000 to eligible international graduate students. Many scholarships are offered to international students at the university. These bursaries are for international graduates or undergraduates enrolled on the campus of Manhattan, Polytechnic, or Olathe, the leadership of which has contributed to international participation on the campus.William L. Richter International ScholarshipInternational students with monetary needs are preferred. Such students must also demonstrate academic potential. Every year, they select students in the Spring, and money is available for these awards in the Fall.

The University of St. Gallen provides scholarships and student loans to help students facing financial hardship. While the scholarships are paid as a one-off sum, student loans are to be paid back to the university after the programme ends. Student loans generally do not charge any interest when a programme is ongoing. However, the interest amount is considered after a student completes the program.
