Yes, there is sectional weightage in the ACAT exam. There are four sections in the ACAT question paper. There is a total of 100 MCQs in the ACAT exam and each sections has 25 multiple-choice questions each. Each question will carry three marks which makes a total of 75 marks per sections and 300 marks overall.

The ACAT exam will be conducted in the computer-based test mode across various test cities in the country. The medium of the ACAT question paper will be English. The students will be required to the visit the ACAT exam centre to take the exam online. The ACAT question paper will have 100 multiple-choice questions with four options each. The candidates have to mark the correct answer among the given options. They must keep in mind that for each correct answer they will be awarded three marks and for each incorrect answer one mark will be deducted from the overall score.

The ACAT exam is conducted in a computer-based test mode across as many as 40 test cities in the country. The exam is conducted for admission to the MBA programme offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The ACAT 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on March 8, 2025, and March 9, 2025. There is no provision of the ACAT exam being conducted offline. Candidates must visit the exam centre to take the exam online.

The ACAT exam is a time based exam. The ACAT question paper has 100 multiple-choice questions in total. The question paper is to be completed in 150 minutes or two hours and 30 minutes. Candidates appearing for the ACAT exam, must adhere to the exam timings and ensure reaching the exam centre at least an hour before the exam begins. Candidates will not be allowed to the enter the examination hall once the gates close neither will they be given extra time. They must also keep in mind the negative markings.

According to the ACAT exam pattern, the ACAT question paper will have a total of 100 multiple-choice questions. Each question in the ACAT exam will carry three marks. This means, that if the candidate has marked five correct options, they will be awarded 15 marks. The total marks in the question paper are 300. Candidates must also know, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks will be awarded or deducted for the unmarked questions. ACAT is a time-based exam, hence, the candidates must complete the exam within the specified duration, whilst keeping the negative markings in mind.
