Yes, Guru Nanak Dev University's BCom admissions are entrance-based. Admission to all the courses offered at the university is based on a departmental-level entrance exam conducted by  the Head of the (respective) Department offering the programme. GNDU. To appear for this exam, candidates must fill out an application form on the official website of the university. Based on the performance in this exam, a merit list is prepared.
