As a rule, admission to B.Com (Hons.) is provided in Dayalbagh Educational Institute based on CUET for which you are supposed to take subject-wise tests. The common subjects asked in the entrance test are on Accountancy, Business Studies, Mathematics, or Economics-based. Sole dependence on the General Test might not help one much as most universities, like Dayalbagh Educational Institute want students with prior knowledge of relevant subjects in commerce-related fields. One needs to follow the specific CUET guidelines of the institute in choosing the subjects required to stand a better chance for admission.

The Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) admissions are conducted in two sessions. The university accepts applications for BCom admission twice a year. The registrations for the first admission session, i.e. the January cycle, commence in January. The admission process for the January cycle continues till March. The second admission session takes place between July and September.
