These scholarships are offered to meritorious students after screening them on various parameters at the end of every academic year. There is the MRD scholarships, which offers 40% tuition fee waiver for the next academic year. to student ranks among the top 20% in their section based on CGPA for a particular academic year. Distinction awards: Students who achieve a CGPA of 7.5 or above for a particular year will receive a cash prize as a distinction award. Rural scholarships: The University offers free engineering education to a selected number of students from rural backgrounds every year. PES University BCom admissions are entirely entrance-based. The university administers an in-house entrance exam called PESSAT, which applies to all courses. While students can apply with a valid score from PESSAT or any national or state-level entrance exam, registering for PESSAT is mandatory. The application form for PES University can only be completed online. Interested candidates should visit the official PESSAT website to register for their chosen course and pay an application fee of INR 1,200. Once the form is submitted, candidates must book a slot for the PESSAT exam, a step applicable only to PESSAT candidates. Upon slot booking, an admit card will be issued, which candidates must download. Following PESSAT registration, students must upload their valid PESSAT score or scores from other relevant entrance exams for their respective courses. Next, they must participate in GD/PI rounds. For the final BCom selection, students need to attend the university's counseling session. After the selection process, students must submit their documents for verification within a specified timeframe and attend counseling. If there are any remaining vacancies, the university will conduct another counseling session.

Admisson to the BCom course is subject to a valid score in the PESSAT exam, which stands for People's Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test. PESSAT 2024 last date to apply for the exam was April 14 for candidates who wish to appear in exam centers outside Bengaluru. Candidates who wish to appear in Bengaluru centre were allowed to apply till April 22. PESSAT PESSATPESSAT 2024 exam was conducted from April 20 to May 12. PESSAT Result 2024 was released on May 16.
