Hi,M.Com degree allows you to pursue teaching professionaly to the senior secondary level. However, specialisation is not a strict requirement. So, you can teach accountancy to 12th standard even if you have specialisation in Marketing. However, you need to have certain eligibility requirements such as teaching experience and pass either NET or SET exams conducted by UGC. I hope it will help. You can reach out to us for further queries.Thank You.

Since you mentioned that your B.Com aggregate is 39%, it might be a challenge to meet the eligibility criteria based on that degree. However, you also mentioned that you are a first-class M.Com graduate. Some institutions might consider your postgraduate degree for eligibility. I would recommend reaching out to the specific institutions you’re interested in to understand their specific eligibility criteria for the LLB course.

You need to pass the National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Eligibility Test (SET) conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC). After that you need to gain teaching experience in Economics by working as a guest lecturer or teaching assistant.
