Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is an academic programme which integrates the field of Computer Engineering and Computer Science. The Eligibility Details are as follows : The student has to pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants).
1 Placements :Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. Dear Aditya, I have no idea of the Acharya Institute but being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of LPU with you. I would suggest you compare the following parameters:
Curriculum: If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback from the industry. Since it is a highly dynamic field, you can't afford a programme that is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Pedagogy: The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the programme is delivered, more practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well-rounded professional. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now high tech-driven, the tech programme must have the exposure and training of the same. The world-leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel, etc. Are a must for any professional to succeed in their career. Industry interface: Ultimately it's the industry that is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits, and internships are a must-have in any tech programme. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills, etc. Are given high importance in the organizations. The programme must include the training or modules on all these. Diversity: As the world shrinks into an aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross-cultural teams having entirely different work cultures and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a college is helpful in enabling the students to develop the right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Entrepreneurship: Even though most of the students go for jobs, exposure to entrepreneurship is required.
