Candidate must have passed B.Sc.(Ag./Hort.) or B.Tech. (Ag.Engg.) or B.V.Sc. & AH / B.F.Sc. / B.H.Sc. (H.Sc.) B.Tech (Dairying) B.Tech (Food Processing & Technology) / B.Tech /B.Sc (Food Science & Technology) / B.Sc.(CA&BM) / B.Sc. (Farm Science) / B.Tech (Biochemistry) of 4 years duration with
50%marks (SC/ST- 40%).
Admission Procedure
Admission is on the basis of
For AP Graduates Valid score in entrance Test followed by Group Discussion & Personal Interview
For other state Graduates Valid score in All India Entrance Examination conducted by the ICAR, New Delhi

It is really up to you, and how you want to take your career forward. But, I can say, in India it's scope is very leads nowadays.
Industry will provided a far greater financial incentive and will probably be more stable than academia.
The academic side can be unstable post-docs last 3-years, teaching posts can be temporary and to climb up the ladder you will have to move around institutes/universities.
But, you also have to remember if you work in industry you can still collaborate with institutes/universities. And try to apply for foreign institutes/ universities for better future if done Ph.D.

Admission Guidelines:
1. Graduates from the state of Andhra Pradesh will be selected based on performance in the entrance test, group discussion, and interview.
2. The selection of the candidates belonging to other states is based on All India Entrance Examination conducted by ICAR, New Delhi.
25% of the total seats are reserved for candidates belonging to other states.
