First of all, you complete your higher education (10+2) and then take admission in this particular field you can go for National School of Drama. It is good that you set your goal and if possible please take acting or theatre classes side by side. Good luck.

Hi Tanushree,
You surely can pursue BA Hons. Drama at Rabindra Bharti University with a valid proof of what you did in the past three years. If you had a medical condition, it would require proofs about that, and if any other, you will have to speak with the administration department.
All the best.

Hi Sunil,
Yes, you can. FTII-Pune, National school of Drama, Barry John College-Mumbai are best. FTII-Pune is ranking no. 1. You have to clear entrance exam, only 10 intake seats.

Hi Mouparna,
The University does not specify the percentage required to take admission in BA Hons in Drama. I think more than your percentage in class 12th, your aptitude in drama is important for this course. The university norms only want you to have cleared your 10+2 from a recognized board of education, with a special talent in Dramatic Arts.

Admissions are open to all freshers with minimum 12 years of age. Acting being a performing arts program is not restricted to any qualification.

Hi Kiran,
There is no eligibility criteria as such. You just need to be at least 5 feet 6 inches tall if you want to pursue modelling. You can directly apply to the college for admissions.
