Yes, you may pursue BA in acting after 12th. You will have to appear for entrance tests conducted by FTII or NSD to get into these colleges. For fee kindly check the website.

You may appear for entrance tests conducted by NSD or FTII, pass the tests successfully and then you may take up acting course from any of these institutes.

You will have to appear for entrance exams conducted by colleges such as FTII or NSD to get into acting courses. Look for the updates on exams which will happen in 2017.
In this entrance test, generally your skill in movie arts and other techniques are being checked.
Moreover, your aptitude skill and knowledge about the current affairs are asked in the personal interview and as well as in the written test.

Hi Shyam,
I would suggest you not to take studies lightly. However, if you want to act, you may join a good Theatre group. Also, watch as many plays as you can. It will help you to understand the art. You can also look for a good Theatre company to start with. However, choosing acting as a profession is not a secure thing. You can talk to your family and join a group as a hobby. Start exploring your self and find out if the decision is working for you or not. Be true to yourself.
