Just tell me - why you have decided to choose Acting as your Career?
Are you so much interested in the Art of Acting and really want to do it?
Then -
1. Learn the Art of Acting:
You have to learn Art of Acting & take a degree from:
National School of Drama, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore etc.
or Film and Television Institute of India, Pune or Any Nationalised Acting Training Institute!
2. Start Doing Theater:
Start the acting @ your college gathering or @ your area's Play/Drama Group and take somewhat experience of the stage!

Kindly mention that which level of acting course do you wish to pursue among a UG, PG or a certificate/Diploma level course for better guidance on this subject. However, a student from PCM stream can pursue a course in acting as it is not a stream specific course.

It is advisible to pursue a course in acting after class 12th only. You may go for a Diploma in acting after class 10th but Acting is a risky industry. You can try your luck very hard to get into it but your education must be rest assured. I'd advice you to go for a Bachelors in mass communication or Bachelors in acting after 12th to get into it.

IT IS VERY DIFFICULT.
Every year around start of May, the application process starts, and the interviews are in June end. (Approximately, because the dates change as per the administration's convenience, please keep a check on the website for this)
Let me tell you the selection process, Every year 26 students are selected out of which 13 seats are reserved for different castes. The 26 that are selected are from various states, say every year only 2 students or a max of 3 can be selected from one particular state(this is not stated in the rules and regulations but this is a fact that you will come to know once you go through all
