Mass communication course and then join an ad agency. But, if you have done graduation then you can go for MBA or Masters in advertising course from MICA as that is the best institute to take the education from and then you get placed in the top companies of India.

If you wish to pursue the same course in Masters then you should probably do Masters in the advertisement from MICA, Ahmedabad. This will not only give you an edge over others, but will also help you get placed in a renowned company on a good package.

There is no short term course that will help you enter into advertising course. The best thing that you can opt for is going for a Masters degree in advertising. That is the best way to get into advertising as only then, you'll be hired by advertising agencies.

10+2 is the basic qualification for pursuing most of the PR and journalism courses. There are certificate courses which don't have credibility. I would not advise you to go for those certificate courses.

Hello Moulish Degree is for 3 years and it is a complete course that will help you to have in depth knowledge of your subject. Moreover, the degree has a great value as compare to Diploma. Person holding a degree gets a good job in a reputed organizations. Whereas, Diploma is usually done as a side course or for the subject in which you just have an interest, but do not have an ultimate goal to pursue it as career. You can do Diploma as a side course or after completing your graduation and post-graduation in your desire field. Diploma usually takes less time like of 6 months or 1 year.

Preparing IIMC Entrance Exam you just need to aim on few things but prepare them with full concentration. For advertising and PR you just need to focus upon the preparation of - english communication, history (printing press/ communication - mainly of India and little of world too), introduction of advertising concept (like first person to introduce ads. , First advertisement, the latest trends in advertisement, types of ads. , Some popular ads. , Their tagline/ punchline etc. ), names of PR agency, their role etc. , current affairs, general knowledge, recent popular punchline of ads.
