To become an aeronautical engineer, you should opt for physics chemistry and maths subjects in 11th and 12th. Then you should prepare for different engineering exams like JEE etc. You can take coaching for the same in 11th and 12th. You have to do well in both entrance exams and 12th boards to get a good college. Then you may opt for Aeronautical Engineering branch in IITs and other good colleges.

There is not much scope in aeronautical as of now. But in future there will be. We've started working on a lot of research projects and the field is developing very fast these days.

Shanon Aerospace Lufthansa airlines subsidiary company in Ireland offers professional training for two years. Though eligibility for this training is Plus two students with 80% maths marks, many BE students are doing this now. Aeronautical Engineering will be the best choice if you target to work with companies like Boeing etc. Then you have to move to USA. If you are Graduate, try to go for MS in USA and then PhD
