100% placements is actually an uthopia, of course presently perhaps IT or CSE are the branches where placements nearing 100% is happening. The latest report by the Ministry of HRD of the Government of India has claimed that the average figure of placements for fresh graduates is just about 50%. The case is no better or no worse for aeronautical engineering branch. In fact, in India, the chances of placements in the core work area for aeronautical engineers is much worse since perhaps only DRFO and ISRO are the agencies who recruit aeronautical engineers. Are you really seeking to know any government college, which does not charge any tuition fee for B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering? I am afraid there is no such Institution in India. In fact these days the government colleges are enhancing their fees to be in line with their expenditures. It is however pertinent to say that the fees charged by government colleges is quite less as compared with many private colleges.
