Hello Saquib, It's nice to know that you are interested in doing Aeronautical Engineering. Yes, you are eligible for lateral admission after Diploma in ME. But there are very few colleges that offer this branch, primarily perhaps due to very less opportunities of employment. Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology has a vibrant placements cell and they make all out efforts to see that all students are placed. However their efforts of course would be limited by economic condition of the country. By the time you pass out, I am sure that employment situation would have improved drastically and you would then have no problems of getting placed.

The college has a placement cell & I am sure that college must be making all out efforts to place students. However there are hardly any core jobs in this field and I feel college must be finding it hard to place students. Placements: In AME course, none of the institutes provides placement. You have to create your resume and apply everywhere. You get the call for the interview, and your performance decides your job percentage. After the completion of 2.5 years, you have to get the job training with your self-expenses. After that, you will be eligible for the job, and at that time, your course was complete.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this institute is better than any AMEN institutes. You get a library, sports campus and Wi-Fi facilities. The medical facility is not available in the college campus. It is far away from the college.
