Hello Kaveri, Placements of students of engineering branch. In India, unfortunately, there are not much job openings for young graduates in this field. Majority of opportunities are in the government sector and here no going to colleges and picking up students. One has to appear for exam and then get selected. In Amity too situation is not any different. But may be they are able to influence some private companies to come for selection in placement season. Here again branchwise data is not available.

Hello Ajit, The placement record of this institute as found from different sources is pretty good. With air travel showing increase of 15% almost every year, placements are good since almost all airlines are increasing their strength of aircraft. This is going to remain so for foreseeable future. Yes, you have heard correctly. Placements for aeronautical engineers is a bit on the lower side and especially for core job. Even an alumni of IIT Mumbai in this branch could not make career in this but is now CEO of Infosys. This tells us that if you have will, you will succeed. Branch does not matter.

Dayanand Sagar is definitely better than MVJ in terms of placements and education. The aeronautical department in DSI is well established and has well experienced faculty. The infrastructure and labs are all well-equipped with the latest necessary apparatus. The placements are also really good with people getting placed in top companies like Textron, bell, Mercedes, etc. So Dayanand Sagar must definitely be the better choice.

Hello Naveen,
There are plenty of institutions in India that are offering courses in aircraft maintenance engineering. But, unfortunately, no unbiased organization has ranked these and hence it's not correct to put these in order of merit. I suggest you seek admission to the college nearest to you and check on its placements record. That's it.
