The eligibility criteria required to get admission to top Aeronautical Engineering colleges in Karnataka are:Students must pass Class 12 with a minimum of 60% of aggregate with Physics,  Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.Students must clear the college entrance exam, followed by counseling and seat allotment rounds.Admission is also based on merit basis and apart from that some colleges in Karnataka accept scorecards of exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, etc. for BTech admissions.

50% of seats in KBNU are alloted through KEA CET and the other 50% through the KBNU entrance exam. You must have 45%  in class 12th and must have PCM as main subjects with chemistry, computer, biology, biotechnology, and electronics as optional subjects with English as a mandatory language subject. For sc/st candidates 40% marks are the eligibility criteria.
