The salaries offered to the candidates vary and can range between large numbers depending upon factors such as job profile, experience, skills etc. The highest salary is that of a pilot (approx 36 lpa) and these numbers can change over the time with upgraded skills and experience.

There are around 12 colleges in India which offer specialised BSc Aeronautical Science programs, out of which 3 are government bodies and 9 are private institutes. These colleges give students a chance to work with experienced professionals to learn from them and help them grow in their careers.

No, IITs don't offer BSc Aeronautical Science but there are aeronautical engineering programs offered by IITs. Many colleges in India such as Wingsss Institute and Bombay flying course offer specialised programs in BSc Aeronautical Science which allow candidates to study advanced technologies in the aviation industry.

The students having sharp skills and mind in subjects such as physics and maths won't find this course too hard to pursue. For making a career in aerospace field you need to have logical skills which will allow you to study this course at a faster pace. without these basic concepts you might encounter challenges whil studying this course.

Only those candidates who have PCM as their core subjects in class 12 are considered eligible for this course. Without Mathematics, one cannot pursue their career in the aerospace industry as the foundation of aerospace industry lies in maths.

As such there is no age limit specified for the candidates. You must clear 10+2 with PCM as core subjects having a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised board. There is a 5% relaxation for reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC etc.
