Scholastic Aptitude Test was basically used by many colleges in US & Canada as one of the criteria for giving admissions. Now some deemed to be universities or well-known Institutions having foreign collaboration also give admissions based on this. Admissions to Aeronautical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering branch is exactly similar to admission for any other branch of Engineering. You need to clear entrance exam prescribed by your state for admission to colleges in your state. For admission in deemed to be universities or CFTI's there are different exams that you need to clear. Unfortunately, there is nothing like NEET for aspirants to engineering. Best wishes.

Fundamentally, GATE syllabus is equivalent to BE. In addition, one is expected to choose GATE paper of the branch in which BE is done. So the requirement for further study material is rather limited.
