Actually if you refer to dictionary, then interesting things will emerge. Aerospace is the industry of aeronautics. All three are one and the same. India has vast potential to grow in this sector.

Hello Karthik,
As you have correctly said, PCM is a must. If you have to choose fourth subject, then I feel PCMC would be a better choice considering content of the course.

Yes, an aerospace Engineer can become a pilot. He needs to do the pilot training and complete CPL course, because Aerospace engineering is different from flying aircrafts.

At par with EEE or ECE and in few industries more than them. You can not define the salary based on the branch. It goes by your capability and the company hiring you!

You are advised to appear for JEE Mains after 10+2 stage to become aerospace engineer and then by doing B.Tech in aeronautical / aerospace engineering at IITs, PEC University-Chandigarh and IIST. IIST grads are preferred by ISRO for Scientific Officer vacancies.

You can appear for IIT-JEE and get a good score in IITJEE-Advanced and get into IIST – Trivandrum or any other top IIT. You can pursue aerospace engineering from these institutes.

In a majority of the cases, the astronauts are generally selected from pilots, as medical fitness needed for an astronaut is much superior to that of a pilot. Aerospace can help you in getting jobs in aerospace industry like HAL, ISRO and other private airlines / manufacturers.

very good in IIT Bombay . but cutoff is too high 2000 air for Gen . many government organization like isro or DRDO and private company like air lines companies , moon looner company of America , Google and many other gives you a great career opportunities.with a huge salary package.
