Hello Kathan,
Your query is quite okay. Actually, aerospace is the name of the industry that deals with aero products and the field of study is called as aeronautical engineering. For working in space, one needs to be an astronaut. Presently only pilots are selected to be astronauts. However if you want to work on spacecraft then you should join ISRO.

Hello Hariom,
It's actually very simple. Fundamentally, aerospace engineer or any other branch, process is same. One needs to pass 12th with good marks and then clear the CET of your state for admission with good marks to get the college of your choice.

Hello Vikas,
It's indeed quite good to hear that you are interested in aerospace engineering in IIT Mumbai. You need to take PCM subjects in your 12th exam and score minimum of 75% marks to be eligible. Then you need to clear JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced to get admission in this premier institute for studies in this branch.

Hello Moseem,
Fundamentally, GATE syllabus is equivalent to BE. In addition, one is expected to choose GATE paper of the branch in which BE is done. So the requirement for further study material is rather limited.

To be an aerospace engineer, you need to pursue B.Tech in same branch from any good college either it is private of government. This is the only path through which you can start your journey in aerospace engineering. I hope this helps you. All the best.

Practically, both are same. Technically, aerospace is the name of the industry that deals in Aeronautical products whereas study is of the subject called aeronautical.

The scope of aerospace engineering is very good in India / World, but with your current rank, it is not possible to pursue aerospace engineering in a good college besides there are very few colleges in Karnataka which provide the course.
