Hello Deva Bharambe, placements of fresh engineering graduates of this branch is actually absymal. But I expect this to improve in years to come. This is so since government has allowed many activities of ISRO to be done parallely by private industry. As a result I am sure employment opportunities are bound to increase in future. To answer your query, no such information is unfortunately available on the net
Best wishes to you.

Hello Kalidass, I can understand your angst and anxiety to get placed after completion of your engineering graduation in aeronautical branch. But I am afraid that the scene is not very bright presently. As per one report, 50% students go for MBA and few more go abroad for MS. But inspite of this placements is big problem across all colleges including IIT's. So if you have not taken admission please rethink. Best wishes to you.

Hello Apurva, yes indeed. That's a very logical and analytical thinking. In addition, of all we know, after four years, there could be enough opportunities in India itself with this area being thrown open to private investment by the present government. Best wishes to you.

Hello Shiv, the placements for fresh pass outs of aerospace engineering are indeed facing huge problems. At least at the present, in India, there are no credible opportunities for getting employed as an aerospace engineer. As a result, majority of the students opt for either of the two choices of going abroad for doing MS or doing MBA. However this situation is likely to change four years from now because of the different policies that the government of India has taken to open up aerospace sector for private enterprise. I hope this helps. Best wishes to you.

Hello Sanket,
The placements for aerospace engineers in India are really not good. Other than ISRO, there are hardly any employment opportunities. Hence, I would definitely advise you to look into this aspect before jumping in to become an aerospace engineer. Different colleges offering this branch unfortunately do not give out branch wise6 placements record, and hence it is difficult to estimate as to how many students of this branch have been placed fruitfully in their core area of learning.
Best wishes to you.
