Hello Priyanka,
Yes, these days all colleges have placements cell. In fact one key factor for students giving preference is performance of college in placing it's students. MIT is no exception. With its heft and influence many top ranked companies make a beeline in this institution for recruitment of students. Best wishes to you.

First of all, in India, the aerospace division lies in the government sector. So, for admission in those govt. companies, you need to go for competitive exams after graduation. Government companies are DRDO, ISRO, HAL, etc. Secondly, you may get placed in the educational sector.

Hello,
This university in Bhubaneswar has a very vibrant and good placements cell. Due to this it is able to bring in lots of companies to the campus and as a result it claims 100% placements for those who wanted the job. I am attaching a link that will give you the statistics of KIIT about their placement activities. However the University has not given branch wise placements for whatever reasons. In spite of this I can say with certainty that placements for aerospace engineering are very hard to come by. However this is expected to improve with years to come as India progress on economic and industrialization front. Best wishes to you

Hello Sudibyajyoti,
Of course yes. DRDO recruits professionals from different fields to work in its wide spectrum of research labs. You will find different vacancies on its website. Normally, it's the GATE score that will decide your merit in the list of candidates shortlisted for the interview stage.
Best wishes to you.

I am a student of the institute and as far as I know the placements re good overall for the college but for aerospace it is moderate. You need to sit for other companies as well rather than hoping to get in the core companies.

Hello Ankan, I am afraid, the opportunities for engineers of this branch in India are quite less. Only DRDO & ISRO are the two organisations who offer employment in the core branch. Jobs in private industries are almost non-existent. Of course as an engineer many are employed but it's not core branch job. The details of Salary or package in both government bodies is as per VII CPC and is quite attractive. I am attaching a link that will give you some idea. https://www.glassdoor.co.in/Salary/ISRO-Indian-Space-Research-Organization-Salaries-E340212.htm
Best wishes to you.

Hello Chaitanya, placements for aerospace or aeronautical engineers is a bit troublesome in India. This is so because the opportunities for employment in the core field are really less. Perhaps only ISRO or DRDO are two agencies which employ experts from these fields. Hence you should be knowing this when you join this engineering branch. From the studies it is revealed that majority of the students of this branch go for either MBA or for post graduation abroad. Jain University has a good name academically as well as they have a good placement cell. This university makes a lot efforts to see to it that majority of students are placed b
