Hi there,
You can get aerospace engineering in few of the colleges via COMEDK with 45K but you will not get the top colleges for aerospace branch with this rank.

Yes, these days all colleges have placements cell. In fact one key factor for students giving preference is performance of college in placing it's students. MIT is no exception. With its heft and influence many top ranked companies make a beeline in this institution for recruitment of students. Best wishes to you.

HAE Pune gives only Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license approved by DGCA, Govt. of India to Carryout and certifies the maintenance of Aircraft, Aircraft Engine, and Its Component. The license is issued in accordance with the Rule 61 of Aircraft Rule 1937 under Aircraft Act, 1934 (XXII of 1934) passed by Indian Parliament to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft before its flying in accordance with the national & international aviation standards.

First of all, in India, the aerospace division lies in the government sector. So, for admission in those govt. companies, you need to go for competitive exams after graduation. Government companies are DRDO, ISRO, HAL, etc. Secondly, you may get placed in the educational sector.

Aerospace Engineering is more related to designing and building of aircrafts and helicopters. So you will require knowledge of mechanical and construction alongwith Physics. If you are interested in subjects like Thermodynamics, Propulsion, Heat Transfer, Aircraft structures, Flight Mechanics than Aeronautical Engineering is better option. As Aeronautical deals with dynamics of flight in air and atmospheric space.

Aeronautical is where you study the various forces that act on an airborne vehicle in the Earths atmosphere. Also, do note the point that nautical is a term used to measure the speed of the wind. So, aeronautical deals with various forces in detail which act on a vehicle which is airborne. Mostly, you can see that only three dimensional forces act on an aeroplane. Hence we mostly will be considering the parameters in three dimensions. Aerospace is where you get to study aeronautical first and space next.
