Placements is a very dynamic subject. Of course sincere management and an excellent team go a long way in providing students best of the opportunities for placements. But then economic and industrial condition of the country plays an important role in this whole business of placements. When the things are going good even lower ranked colleges get recruiters and place their students, but in hard times even the best of colleges including IIT's find it tough to place their students. Hello Sarath Kumar,
Your academic record appears to be quite good. Scoring a percentile of above 85 in JEE Mains is indeed an exceptional result. However, a majority of students are desirous of getting a seat in CSE branch and hence the closing percentiles are very high. For aeronautical or aerospace engineering, you have a chance because this branch is available only in IITs and you will definitely be clearing JEE Mains and can appear for JEE Advanced. I am attaching a link that we predict a college and branch for you based on your percentile.

Jain University IIAEM is the good option if you're planning to do aerospace engineering. The faculties are well-experienced and knowledgeable. Also the infrastructure and laboratories are excellent

Of course yes. Any student who has completed aerospace engineering can surely join flying school where commercial flying is taught. This is so since basic eligibility for the course is 12th with PCM.

Normally speaking, the eligibility for doing post graduation in aeronautical engineering is Bachelor's in aeronautical engineering or allied branch. However, the students of other branches can select concerned or related specialisation of aeronautical engineering after caring concerned GATE examination. I'm attaching the link concerning admission to post graduate courses in aeronautical engineering in IIT Mumbai.
