Actually, there is no relationship between aerospace engineering and astronomy. Presently in India, opportunities in both are limited. However, the aerospace sector is poised for tremendous growth in years to come. On the other hand, astronomy is basically research-based and job opportunities are not expected to grow. My vote would be for aerospace engineering.

Yes, this institute accepts NRI students. However, admission is based on JEE Mains score. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information.

You have obtained a very good rank in KCET. I am sure with this rank, you will get admission in perhaps any branch and college that you desire. The available data indicates that cutoffs last year in this branch in this college were about 6000. Hence, do not worry.
