If you want to work in India opt for AME, opt for aerospace or aeronautical, if you want to work abroad (this is based on the job opportunities).
Rest, Opt for the engineering branch that you love the most and are most passionate about and analyze the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission.
You can also opt for psychometric test comprising of Aptitude, personality and career interest to clear confusion.

Hello Shashi,
In a competitive environment what matters is rank and not marks scored. In IIT-Bombay, if one has a rank of about 2000, then there are bright chances of getting admission in this branch. Of course, for girl students, it could be lower.

Admissions in IIT depend on rank not on marks. Rank vs marks trend always changes in JEE Advanced. Even no one knows the full marks of the exam. So, prepare nicely and give your best to get aerospace in IIT. Currently, only in 4 IITs aerospace is there. IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Kharagpur, IIT-Bombay & IIT-Madras are these IITs offering this course.
