Yes, definitely, you can go to the ISRO and NASA. In ISRO, if you are a Ph.D candidate, they offer a job without interview also.

Hello Hermione, Always remember"Failure is never final". You can always get better by hard work. It's nice to see your aim of getting into IIST at Trivendrum. Eligibility for this is JEE Advanced and for that one needs 75% marks in 12th. However there are plenty of other good colleges with this branch. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about these colleges. If you have a deep interest in aerospace, then only go for it because in this, you have to read higher level maths, physics, computers and many other things. It is also quite boring. Also, for placements, you need to do very well in your academics. You will get a government job in this. This is also a specialised branch. Taking core branches is quite good and also placement-wise. It is also quite easy with respect to aerospace engineering. Follow your interest and dream. That's more important.

You should really learn MATLAB, if you want to do aerospace.
Ada and FORTRAN are popular with aerospace.
Between C+ and Java, you are probably better off with C+ .
C would be even better.
MATLAB is definitely the best though.
