Those who opt for this field, should pass their plus two examination under the Science stream, specially in physics and math's. For pursuing a career in theoretical or observational astronomy one may go through the Science stream after plus two. Since universities offering undergraduate programme in Astronomy are rarely found, one can join for a major/ honours in Physics with Mathematics as a subsidiary subject. Thereafter, take a master's degree in Physics or Astronomy. After the successful completion of M.Sc. One can do specialisation in astronomy leading to Ph.D. which enables one to become an astronomer/ astronaut/ astrophysicist o

The scope is very limited. It's important to join a reputed campus for Quality Placement.Searching for an aerospace job outside the campus is a very difficult task. Take a good college with the best placement record.

In order to apply for the aerospace cngineering, you must have completed your 10+2 board examination from a recognised board and along with this you must also appear for an entrance exam of engineering. Since, admission is done on the basis of performance in both class 12th as well as entrance examinations conducted at the state, university, or national level.
Note that the value of National Level Entrance examinations is much higher than that of state level Exams. So, you must give preference to the National Level Examinations. You can also appear for the state level examinations along with it.
Regards.

Hello Rushikesh, Actually speaking aeronautical engineering is the name of the course and aerospace is the name of industry operating in this field. Presently at least in India there is hardly any scope for employment in core areas. On the other hand, AME deals with servicing and main of civilian aircraft. In India passenger as well as cargo traffic is increasing by around 15% per year. This means more aeroplanes in Indian skies which in turn means more AME requirement. Tremendous opportunities for job.
