Yes, it is a good strategy to appear for entrance in Amity University, since you scored less in JEE Mains. But, I would advise you to take it seriously and study with full vigour. I am attaching a link, which will give you all required information.

These days getting admitted in an engineering college is no big deal. In many states seats are vacant and hence admissions are granted after the process of counselling, directly.
Best wishes.

The eligibility for M.Tech in aerospace is BE in related subject. Meaning perhaps mechanical, electrical, avionics, etc. Some institutions demand minimum marks in class 12th also but it differs.
Best wishes.

Research on university websites for the admission requirements, budget etc before shortlisting them. It is very difficult to name specific colleges without any idea of your profile in details. Check this link here, go through the requirements

With 56% marks in class 12th, your chances of getting admission through normal counselling process is quite less. However, almost all private colleges would be allowed to admit students for vacant seats directly. This will be your chance.

Your score of 36 in JEE Mains is quite low and hence getting admission in a normal manner in an engineering college appears to be tough. However, you can seek admission through management quota.
