It's a private institute offering courses perhaps with DGCA certification. It's not regular engineering. It does not have AICTE approval.

This institute conducts its own entrance exam. Admissions are based on this plus personal interview. Fees is about 3 LPA and an additional 8 LPA for participation for study abroad.

As per the report of AICTE, almost 1Lac fresh graduates are jobless. Some will be from your branch also. But prospects for jobs appear to be increasing as aviation sector is getting a boost from the government.

You may not get lateral admission but you can get admission in the 1st-year of any branch since Diploma is considered as equivalent to 12th standard.

Your query is quite interesting. But then when I reviewed this, I found that all NIT's, IIT's & all CGFI's whose intake is from JEE Mains are autonomous. You will have to look for colleges of states that depend on JEE Mains for admission since such colleges would be coming under some university.

Yes, you can always pursue engineering abroad. However, in the majority of cases, somebody has to fund your expenses during the duration of the course. Fee is about 5-8 Lacs.

IITs do not give lateral admission but diploma is considered equivalent to 12th and hence, if you have scored more than 75 % in diploma, you can appear for JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced for admission in IIT.
