SRM is private university having deemed status.
Facilities provide by them are very good and they maintain international standards.
SRM University is one of the top most universities in India.
If you got a chance to study in any university, you should have interest to learn, total learning depends on you only, not on the university.
Every university will provide facilities at the national level.
If you are really interested in the aero field then go for aerospace in BE level but studying aero from non-IIT's in not good.
Otherwise, do BE-Mech at a standard college, prepare well for GATE and go for M.Tech aerospace at IIT's.

Dear Abhishek,
Aeronautical engineering deals with design and development. We were basically exposed to aircraft. Outside the realm of the atmosphere is basically known as astronautical engineering. Aerospace engineering in IIT-Madras combines both aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering because the dynamics of operating an aircraft in outer space is completely different from that in the atmosphere.
Electronics in aviation is avionics. It is the job of an avionics engineer to design systems to navigate from point A to point B or in case of a missile it is to design guidance control systems to see that the missile reaches

Yes, you can do MBA after completing aerospace engineering. And if you are good and clever then ISRO will recruit you. And as per my suggestion, you should study aerospace engineering from Tamil Nadu.

Hello Vikas,
Companies salary packages are almost wholly dependent on demand and supply. More supply means less salary and less supply means higher salary. Also, MNCs normally offer better packages than Indian companies. All in all, you can expect CTC of around 4 to 6 Lakhs per annum.

Aerospace engineering basically has two subsections. One is Aeronautical Engineering while the other is astronautical engineering. Aeronautical deals with Aircrafts where Astronautical deals with spacecraft. If you go for Aerospace engineering, you're likely to cover modules of both aircrafts and spacecrafts.

Dear,
Aerospace engineering is concerned with designing and building aircraft and spacecraft. Aerospace engineering can be divided into two specializations: Aeronautical engineers handle design, manufacturing and maintenance of aircraft, helicopters & UAV etc and astronautically engineers, who design spacecraft, rockets, satellites, and others. IIST is the third best option to pursue aerospace engineering after IITs and PEC University - Chandigarh. There is no fee in IIST and ISRO will offer you job of scientific officer subject to availability of vacancies on completion of B.Tech.
