Normally, space is aerospace in Indian context. ISRO has sponsored one college of aerospace studies. However, there are other related topics too concerning space.

Scoring good marks after 12th in any subject is a matter of liking that subject, perseverance, hard work, understanding concepts, application of these concepts in problem solving, etc. Nothing is impossible in this world. Have self confidence amongst all things.

To get into IIT B, you have to clear two exams. Firstly JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced. Of course, you have to score above 75% in your 12th also. Then, for specific course in a specific IIT, you need to be in a relatively higher percentile bracket.

Aerospace engineering in IIT M, has good reputation besides placement record. Cutoffs for this year's JEE Mains has not been announced yet. You need to be in club of 70 percentiles minimum to get choice of your liking.
