Aeronautical engineering is a niche branch and following are employers of aeronautical engineers in India: (a) Indian Air Force (b) DRDO (c) ISRO (d) Airlines as aircraft maintenance engineers (e) Universities (f) Aircraft manufacturing companies and its ancillaries, etc. Indian Air Force and DRDO have lots of openings for aeronautical engineers. There are also lots of opportunities available abroad for aeronautical engineers. You can easily get starting CTC of INR 5+ Lakhs. Hi,
USA would be the best place to pursue aerospace engineering as it has the top universities like MIT, California Institute of Technology, Michigan, Texas, etc. The process would be quite competitive so you need to take SAT and TOEFL and overall good profile.

Hi Thushar, you can refer to QS world ranking and Times Higher Education for university rankings. The best aerospace engineering programs are usually MIT, California Institute of Technology, Stanford University , Georgia Institute of Technology ,Queen Mary- University of London,Bremen University of Applied Sciences,RWTH Aachen University, TU Berlin to name a few.

If you want to pursue B.tech - Aerospace engineering than you can apply in Amity school of Engineering which is affiliated to AIEEE and for that you must have JEE main score and minimum 55% in class 12th (with PCM and English subject).
You need to check on the Amity helpline when you already have JEE main score.

Aerospace engineering is concerned with designing and building aircraft and spacecraft. Aerospace engineering can be divided into two specializations: Aeronautical engineers handle design, manufacturing and maintenance of aircraft, helicopters & UAV etc and astronautically engineers, who design spacecraft, rockets, satellites, and others.
