Definitely it's a good option. Aerospace engineering is a unique field. Anna university is the right place to study Aerospace Engineering. The stream has good job opportunities in abroad as well.

Outstanding applicants with Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology with an excellent academic record and aptitude for research are considered for direct admission to the PhD programme of Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. Candidates must have secured CGPA of 9.0/10 or better and a valid GATE score of 675 or better. B.E./B. Tech students from IITs with CGPA better than 9.0/10 do not require GATE.

As you are interested in two domains of engineering and also thinking about placements and also package provided by the company then you may choose computer science because in IIT's many of the software companies will show interest to take more number of people and you will have more opportunities to place because there are so many IT companies around us. But if we compare the same thing to aerospace we have intake for freshers in DRDL,DRDO,ISRO etc like government research centers which ask for very good and effective students in that sector. Since the packages are not officially revealed so the information is not sure but the average package goes around 8 Lacs P.A.

After completing B.tech in aerospace either you can opt a core or non core job via placement cell. Or you can you can convert to B.tech+M.tech (5 year) here from IIT Bombay, or you can go for MS from Foreign Institute. These are the options which most of the students choose. Also you can start your own Startup if interested.

Both the institutes mentioned by you are equally good and thus it will be very difficult to tell which one will be the best option. However, we can help you with the parameters that you can keep in mind while choosing an institute among the two. You can consider the below parameters :
1) Faculty,
2) Affiliation / Recognition
3) Course Material,
4) Quality Education,
5) Fees
6) Infrastructure
7) Success Rate.
8) Placement
9) Top recruiting companies.
Also, if possible go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute.

Hi Tapan,
Admission requirements vary but in top colleges you must have excellent academic records. For universities in US you must also take GRE. Additionally you must take TOEFL or IELTS. For admissions you will require LOR, UG transcripts, statement of purpose, application fees. There are also university specific requirements as mentioned, so you must select the universities and check the websites. Few universities might also require work experience. Hope it helps.
