According to media reports, 1,722 students registered for the 2023 placement process. At the end of session 1.1, a total of 445 offers were made. Among these, 25 offers were of packages above INR 1 crore per annum. Further, 15 international offers were received from four companies. A total of 331 companies registered for phase I of IIT Madras placements 2023. The institute recorded the highest-ever pre-placement offers of 407.
