In the present times, there are very less jobs for the graduates of aeronautical engineering. Invariably these students then go for other MBA or MS abroad. Very few get placed in India and many of them get placed in place of mechanical engineers. In view of this I would definitely recommend you to opt for computer sciences rather than aerospace engineering. Best wishes to you.

Although IITs definitely are top notch organisations and have a long track record and

A degree in aerospace engineering and a degree in aeronautical engineering both prepare students to design aircraft. In fact, aeronautical engineering is a branch of aerospace engineering. Though the two degree programs teach similar engineering principles, there is a critical distinction between designing for air and space. Aeronautical engineering is actually a type of aerospace engineering, which is split into two main areas:

Aeronautical engineering is actually a type of aerospace engineering, which is split into two main areas:
Aeronautical: Relates to machines that fly within the earths atmosphere, such as planes. Astronautical: Relates to spacecraft such as rockets, space stations and shuttles. My brother has done Aerospace engineering from LPU. Fee per semester is 98,000 INR without scholarship. Aerospace is a specialised branch of engineering which deals with the design and development of aircraft's as well as space crafts The course curriculum covers aspects of two branches of engineering - Aeronautical and Astronautical engineering. The two types of aerospace engineers include aeronautical engineers (They work with aircraft that stay within the earth's atmosphere such as airplanes and helicopters. ). And astronautical engineers (They work with aircraft that operate outside of the earth's atmosphere such as rockets, satellites, and other and spacecraft. ). A degree in aerospace engineering should cover them both. My brother has done Aerospace engineering from LPU. Fee per semester is 98,000 INR without scholarship. Aeronautical engineering tends to focus on flight and activities within an atmosphere, a more dedicated field of aerospace studies that usually includes the atmosphere, but also extends into applications in space, where there is no atmosphere. Both Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering are good branches. If you want to work in the aircraft building industry then aerospace engineering is the right course for you. However, if you look forward to work in the space industry, then aeronautical engineering is the right branch for you. My brother has done Aerospace engineering from LPU.
