AFCAT merit list is prepared based on the performance in the online test and AFSB Interview. Separate qualifying marks are decided for the online test and AFSB interview. Candidates are placed in the order of merit on the basis of their total marks secured in both the stages of exams. Allotment of candidates in Permanent Commission/Short Service Commission in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) and Flying Branches are done based on the number of vacancies, performance in the selection process, and choices given by candidates.

AFCAT scorecard is released along with the result. To download the scorecard, candidates need to enter user ID, password and captcha code. The scorecard of AFCAT comprises the following details:
Registration number
Name of candidates
AFCAT cut off
Obtained score
Qualifying status
The hard copy of the AFCAT scorecard is not sent to candidates by post. The scores of candidates are calculated based on normalisation because the exam is conducted in multiple shifts. The normalisation of scores is done to adjust the difficulty level of the question papers held across various shifts. For every correct answer, three marks are awarded to candidates.

AFCAT 2 result 2023 was announced on September 27, 2023. The result was announced on the official website of IAF. However, the direct link to check the result is provided on this page. The scorecard and cut off marks are released along with the result. To download the result and scorecard, candidates need to enter user ID, password and captcha code. The hard copy of the scorecard is not sent to candidates by post. Candidates qualifying the online test are called for AFSB interview. The full form of AFCAT is Air Force Common Admission Test whereas the full form of NDA is National Defence Academy. Both exams are the sought-after defence entrance exams in the country. The online correction window for AFCAT is made available by IAF after the application process closes. Only two sections are editable, 'Fill Application Form' and 'Upload Document'. Using the correction window, candidates can edit the details such as Candidate's name, Father's name, Passport Size Photo, Signature, Thumb Impression. No other fields are editable. To be eligible for the Flying Branch in AFCAT you must have a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate and should have passed Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level. Additionally, you must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or BE/B Tech degree (4-year course) with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. Since you have a graduation degree in Physics Honours, you fulfill the minimum educational qualification criteria for the Flying Branch in AFCAT. However, you should also ensure that you meet the age, nationality, and physical fitness criteria specified by the Indian Air Force.

Hi Ratan yes you can apply for AFCAT on non technical field. But honestly and frankly speaking you seriously have got so low percentage try to improve it. What is the purpose of studying if you got low marks.
