Hello Satya Narayan, once you take admission in the air force then you just cannot live as per your wishes. You need to resign and your resignation letter needs to be accepted by the IAF authorities. I am afraid that getting selected in UPSC civil services examination is perhaps not an option that I would agree to give you release. If you are confident then I suggest that you should first appear for civil services examination and then once again crack AFCAT in case you wish. Best wishes to you.

Hello Harsh, yes definitely. Aaj you have taken admission for graduation course in engineering and will be passing it out in this year you are eligible to apply for AFCAT examination. Your Diploma could be considered as equivalent to 12th. You of course need to score the minimum required marks in your graduation for actually getting into Air Force. Hello Sana Khan, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in joining Indian Air Force. Yes I am very happy to SEE your choice since I do had served Air Force for 30 long years in there aeronautical engineering branch. It's one of the best in the country as well as in the world.
