If you want join the Indian Air Force as a Pilot, you will have to be a part of the Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force. You can choose to join the Flying Branch after your Class 12th or even after your graduation. This means that if you give examination for Association Membership examination and have cleared the examination of section A and B which is conducted by aeronautical society of India is equivalent to a graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from an India University.
