This is the minimum eligibility required. * Students who have completed their Master's degree are also qualified to apply for MS in the US. Standardized test: Admission for MS in the US universities requires the aspirant to take certain standardized entry level tests. Some of them are GMAT GRE TOEFL, IELTS MCAT and ISAT, among others. * Most American universities demand 16 years of formal education to be eligible for a Master's programme. All the best.

* The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing B.Sc. (Information Technology) degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science stream with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as subjects studied and with a minimum of 50% marks secured in Maths and/or in aggregate from a recognized board of the country.

There are lot of Creative fields, where there is a great scope of going very high in life. I would suggest he should continue his +2 in Arts/ Humanities. After 12th he can take up UG courses in any of the following areas (Where Maths & Science not required). I have not mentioned Architecture / Gaming / Computer related courses etc. Here as they require Maths in their 10+2 and further. You have not mentioned his area of interest - so little difficult to guide as such. Here are just a few courses I have mentioned, there are many more.
