National Institute of Fashion Technology has notified the eligibility criteria of NIFT 2018 on October 20, 2017. Aspirants, who will fulfil the specified age and educational requirements will be considered eligible. Yes, it can be done after 1-year gap but not more than 1. Please check with your school and board for formalities. If you have exceeded 1-year you can consider completing your 12th from NIOS.

There are many job oriented courses you can choose from, what you choose or study depends on your interest. IT, Graphics, Textile, Accessory Design, Fashion Design, Hair Dressing, Culinary Arts, Film making etc. are some of the few options. You must explore more and know your preferred area.

If you want to do the Diploma in computer science and it has more scope to get better placement after completion of your graduation. Otherwise, if you study +2 (MPC) after tenth later, you are eligible to do the B.Tech (CSE), By doing +2, you get more knowledge about maths and physics, & vice versa benefits. Both the courses have the pros and cons. So, you can decide based on these.
