It has a good scope, in fact, both in the government sector and the private divisions. One can enrol as food quality inspector in areas of quality assurance, purchasing management, food equipment, food safety, research, teaching, food preservation, product development, etc.

Hello Sanika, Candidates need to be Indian nationals to be eligible to apply for admission in UG programmes offered at ICT. Apart from this, aspirants should have cleared their qualifying examination (having Science subjects) with atleast 50% aggregate marks if they are from General category. Total Number of seats available in the institute for B.Tech in food technology and management are-180.
Indian Nationals: 180 seats
Foreign nationals: 27 Seats (9 seats reserved for South-East Asian Countries and Indians in Gulf Countries).
Admissions against the 180 seats in the campus will be done on the basis of the rank secured in the All India Overall Rank obtained by candidates in JEE Mains.
