Anna University is one of the best colleges for engineering in India.
It is known for old and architectural infrastructure faculty with great experience and knowledge facilities provided by it like sports complex, Wi-Fi and labs are well equipped by the instruments and machines.
There are many colleges which are affiliated to Anna University.
Agriculture and irrigation engineering is one of the new courses which has been started after 2010 due to this there are not many companies which have been interested to take these engineers in the companies.

1. The programme offers an opportunity to students to learn how to design and supervise the construction of agricultural buildings and storage facilities. Budding engineers would learn about the designing of livestock structures, greenhouses, silos, and cold-storage facilities for the crops. They would also know how to design and evaluate equipment that would be used for the preparation of the ground for seeding, spraying and harvesting.
