The eligibility criteria for admission to the Bachelor of Technology in Agricultural Engineering (BTech) offered by PAU are as follows.•  Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks cumulatively.• Candidates must pass the 10+2 examination with the mandatory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.• Candidates must qualify in the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) followed by counseling conducted by the PAU.Main Eligibility: 10+2 non-medical group (PCM) or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

AICTE has recently made some changes in their elligibility criteria for engineering. Elligibility criteria also vary for state education board and universities. I will suggest you can do it ( with some exception) and bio 12th would definitely be an advantage.

Hi, The eligibility is as following:
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry & either Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent subject to valid score in LPU NEST (Agriculture). So, with 55% you may not be eligible. But LPU floats following relaxation in eligibility:
1. 5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants)
2. 10% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons (I. e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship), Subject to verificat

Yes you can be eligible if you meet the below eligibility criteria. Eligibility criteria of MCA:
Any graduate who has passed or appearing for the final year degree examination in any discipline (Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering or any approved University) is eligible to apply. Candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation.

The admission in UAS Bangalore in B.Tech Agriculture Engineering based on ranks obtained in KEA CET. Hence, admission on the basis of Diploma in Agriculture is not available in the asked course.

Hi Chandu,
Yes, of course, you are eligible to take admission in diploma in agriculture engineering. You should apply for the same. Your score in class 10th is good enough to clear the eligibility criteria. Hindi is not taught in diploma courses.
